An exclusive model home at the Midtown Condominium Tower, in New York
Giorgetti announces the collaboration at The Centrale, a 71-story condominium tower located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan at 138 East 50th Street owned by Ceruzzi Properties, a full-service real estate company. The partnership is showcased in a two-bedroom model residence featuring sweeping floor-to-ceiling views of both uptown and downtown which becomes the new headquarters of Giorgetti USA.
Featuring architecture by Pelli Clarke Pelli, The Centrale ascends to the top of the Midtown Manhattan skyline, offering a unique vantage point of the city’s most celebrated landmarks. The interiors, instead, were designed by Champalimaud Design. The model residence features Giorgetti furniture and artworks curated from Cortesi Gallery, Giorgetti's partner since 2020, founded in 2013 by the Cortesi family and specialising in European artistic movements from the 1960s to the present day.
The items on display from Giorgetti’s collections include the Skyline sofa and small table defining the living room with the Opus armchair, the Kendama lamps and the Kaleido rug. The Kendama elements are repeated in the dining area characterised by the Tiche chairs and the Eos trolley, while the kitchen is completed with the Ode stools. In the office area, the Alma desk together with the Baron armchair; the setting is enriched with the Progetti Sense bergère with its pouf and the Origami cabinet. The Pegaso bed is the protagonist of the bedroom together with the Romeo night-tables, the Hug armchair, the Skyline cabinet and the Corallo small table. The paintings from Cortesi Gallery selected by the Giorgetti Art Director Giancarlo Bosio are signed by Agostino Bonalumi, Maurizio Donzelli, Heinz Mack and Gianfranco Pardi.
Giorgetti also provides a bespoke interior design service, signed by the Andre Kikoski Architect studio, for the new buyers of The Centrale apartments. The collaboration between Giorgetti and The Centrale joins a partnership with New York City department store Saks Fifth Avenue and a luxurious suite of amenity spaces.
