PROJECTS & STORIES | Giorgetti for René Caovilla
A synergy of Italian Excellences
The beauty and the Italian style show the uniqueness of the arts and crafts in a new synergy between the design brand Giorgetti, which with its 122 years of history represents one of the pillars of the Brianza furniture district, and the Maison René Caovilla, pride of the footwear manufacturing on the Brenta Riviera since 1934.
The spaces of the Giorgetti Atelier in Milan become the fascinating scenography of the social media campaign by René Caovilla: the footwear collections reveal all their artistic preciousness in the refined and enveloping Giorgetti atmospheres. Christmas 2020 is a tribute to the excellence of Made in Italy, of which the two brands are ambassadors in the world also thanks to Altagamma, the foundation that brings the companies of the high Italian cultural and creative industry together, of which both are members.
The collaboration between Giorgetti and René Caovilla dates back to 2018, when the design and architecture studio M2Atelier chose Giorgetti style and know-how to furnish the creative office of the René Caovilla headquarters. Overlooking the wonderful Villa Pisani, the Fiesso d’Artico building is characterised by large and bright spaces that host the imposing Bigwig table by Roberto Lazzeroni together with the sinuous Norah armchairs designed for Giorgetti by M2Atelier.
Giorgetti's attention to detail, artistic sensitivity, craftsmanship and innovation are reflected in René Caovilla's jewel shoes. The collections take shape from the intelliget artisans’ work that allows to transform an intuition into a unique and perfect handmade product, in which every embroidery, every detail, every quality control reveals a story of passion for excellence: in the encounter between art and luxury craftsmanship, dream shoes are born.
Sharing the same experience in the field of craftsmanship and the same desire to create pieces able to excite, once again Giorgetti and René Caovilla stage an authentic story about Italian beauty: a heritage built by man and handed down from generation to generation.
