GIORGETTI RENOVATES NEW YORK ATELIER AND UNVEILS THE GIORGETTI MASERATI EDITION COLLECTION
An immersive journey through design, performance and Italian savoir-faire.
As part of NYCxDESIGN 2025, Giorgetti opens the doors to its newly renovated Atelier in New York, presenting a fresh vision of contemporary living. The completely reimagined space takes on the character of a modern loft: welcoming, intimate and sophisticated. This environment is designed not merely to showcase, but to bring design to life. Natural lighting and carefully balanced compositions work together to create an atmosphere where the experience becomes even more engaging.
Nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of NoMad, one of Manhattan's most exclusive neighbourhoods, the Giorgetti Atelier occupies the top two floors of a historic building situated between Fifth Avenue and 34th Street. A 600-square-metre penthouse which, thanks to an additional 400-square-metre panoramic rooftop, offers an unrivalled view of the Empire State Building and the entire New York skyline.
The entire project is conceived as a coherent and refined narrative, where the 2025 collections harmoniously coexist with the brand's iconic pieces. The space unfolds like a contemporary residence: the entrance hall welcomes visitors before leading them into a formal living room, designed for receiving and entertaining guests. The rooftop, accessed via a staircase characterised by a site-specific installation by artist David Paul Kay, transforms into a green oasis in the heart of the city: here, Giorgetti's Open Air collections find their natural setting.
In this setting, the Giorgetti Maserati Edition collection makes its American market debut, following its Milan presentation during Design Week 2025. The fruit of an unprecedented collaboration between two Italian icons of excellence, the collection emerges from the meeting of Giorgetti's creative team, led by Giancarlo Bosio, and the Maserati design centre directed by Klaus Busse. This project transcends mere co-branding, organically fusing two worlds that share common values, attention to detail, innovative spirit and a culture of beauty. It represents a genuine intertwining of identities that enriches Giorgetti's design language and propels it along new trajectories.
Inspired by the sea, the sky and the mythological power of Neptune's Trident, the collection includes furnishings with evocative names: such as the sculptural Seidon sofa, the Nereide modular system, the Lorelei chairs, the refined Teti pouf, the Ligea, Sibilia and Ploto coffee tables and the Neomeris rugs. Each element tells a story of strength, harmony and elegance, celebrating the continuous tension between nature and form.
Alongside this debut, Giorgetti presents projects born from new creative synergies, together with already established collaborations. Among these, Floria, the table designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, which celebrates the lightness of nature; Moorea, the outdoor collection designed by Carlo Colombo, in which technique and beauty merge to offer comfort and resilience in all weather conditions; and Tiber & Tiberina, tables and pouffes designed by Virginia Harper which, inspired by the dialogue between land and water, evoke the meeting of architectural solidity and natural fluidity. Finally, new objects from the Atmosphere collection enrich the narrative.
To complete the experience, special collaborations with Space Gallery and Oblong Contemporary Gallery transform the Atelier's indoor and outdoor spaces into a place of art and culture.
Newly transformed, the Giorgetti Atelier in New York establishes itself not merely as a showroom, but as a meeting place of languages, visions and passions – a living expression of Italian excellence.
