GIORGETTI RENOVATES NEW YORK ATELIER AND UNVEILS THE GIORGETTI MASERATI EDITION COLLECTION

An immersive journey through design, performance and Italian savoir-faire.

As part of NYCxDESIGN 2025, Giorgetti opens the doors to its newly renovated Atelier in New York, presenting a fresh vision of contemporary living. The completely reimagined space takes on the character of a modern loft: welcoming, intimate and sophisticated. This environment is designed not merely to showcase, but to bring design to life. Natural lighting and carefully balanced compositions work together to create an atmosphere where the experience becomes even more engaging.

Nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of NoMad, one of Manhattan's most exclusive neighbourhoods, the Giorgetti Atelier occupies the top two floors of a historic building situated between Fifth Avenue and 34th Street. A 600-square-metre penthouse which, thanks to an additional 400-square-metre panoramic rooftop, offers an unrivalled view of the Empire State Building and the entire New York skyline.

The entire project, curated by Creative Director Giancarlo Bosio alongside the in-house architectural team, is conceived as a coherent and refined narrative, where the 2025 collections harmoniously coexist with the brand's iconic pieces. The space unfolds like a contemporary residence: the entrance hall welcomes visitors before leading them into a formal living room, designed for receiving and entertaining guests. Adjacent to this is a cigar room, an intimate and evocative space that adds a note of exclusivity. The journey continues into a spacious living area dedicated to domestic conviviality, flanked by the dining room. The sleeping quarters feature a master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, a guest room, and a meeting area that accommodates both a functional workspace with a large table and executive seating, as well as a more informal space for private conversations. The rooftop, accessed via a staircase characterised by a site-specific installation by artist David Paul Kay, transforms into a green oasis in the heart of the city: here, Giorgetti's Open Air collections find their natural setting.

In this setting, the Giorgetti Maserati Edition collection makes its American market debut, following its Milan presentation during Design Week 2025. The fruit of an unprecedented collaboration between two Italian icons of excellence, the collection emerges from the meeting of Giorgetti's creative team, led by Giancarlo Bosio, and the Maserati design centre directed by Klaus Busse. This project transcends mere co-branding, organically fusing two worlds that share common values, attention to detail, innovative spirit and a culture of beauty. It represents a genuine intertwining of identities that enriches Giorgetti's design language and propels it along new trajectories.

The collection draws inspiration from the sea and sky, and takes its cue from Neptune's trident to evoke stories of strength, elegance and movement. Each element references mythological figures and untameable natural forces, paying homage to the automotive brand's iconography and its profound relationship with winds and currents – the poetic engine behind its creations.

Nereide, symbolising wisdom and power, is a modular seating system resting on a solid ash platform. Seidon is a sofa whose backrest and seat flow with fluidity, evoking the sinuous lines of automobiles. The Lorelei seats, available in armchair and sofa versions, welcome the body in a seductive and comfortable embrace, while the Teti pouffe stands out for the sophistication of its geometric design. The Ligea side tables dynamically reinterpret the forms of automotive air intakes; Sibilia, with its vertical element, evokes the resonance of wind. Ploto, a table on wheels, glides with elegance like a boat among waves, while Neomeris captures, through materiality, the sea's constant restlessness.

Alongside this debut, Giorgetti presents for the first time in New York projects born from new creative synergies, together with already established collaborations. Among these, Floria, a collection designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, which celebrates the lightness and power of nature with sculptural volumes and precious materials; Moorea, an outdoor collection by Carlo Colombo, in which technique and beauty merge to offer comfort and resilience in all weather conditions; and Tiber & Tiberina, tables and pouffes designed by Virginia Harper which, inspired by the dialogue between land and water, evoke the meeting of architectural solidity and natural fluidity – a balance reminiscent of the Tiber river and its island. Finally, new objects from the Atmosphere collection enrich the narrative.

To complete the experience, a special collaboration with Space Gallery transforms the Atelier's interior spaces into a place of art and culture. A selection of works by Italian and international artists – from the textured surfaces of Nunzio De Martino to the minimalist spatial elements of Turi Simeti – naturally interweaves with the interior design, creating a sensory journey where design and art blend in sublime balance. The collaboration with Oblong Contemporary Gallery also continues with a selection of sculptures by Gustavo Vélez, both for the loft and the rooftop. This curation is designed to enhance the concept of Giorgetti living: immersive, refined, emotional.

>Newly transformed, the Giorgetti Atelier in New York establishes itself not merely as a showroom, but as a meeting place of languages, visions and passions – a living expression of Italian excellence.
