Giorgetti’s elegant furnishing solutions grace the new venue of the prestigious private members’ club CORE: in New York, designed by international architecture and interior design studio m2atelier.
Giorgetti design features in yet another prestigious project in the heart of New York: the new venue for CORE:, a selection of members-only clubs, whose interior design has been entrusted to m2atelier, the Milan-based architecture and interior design studio run by Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli, who are also in charge of the creative direction of the new venues to be opened in Milan and San Francisco.
Founded in 2005 by Jennie and Dangene Enterprise, CORE: represents a new concept in private members’ clubs, becoming a crossroads of culture, cuisine, architecture, art, sports, wellness, beauty and hospitality, appealing to an international community that is both inclusive and exclusive.
Located not far from the Giorgetti Atelier in New York, which opened last year, the club occupies the four upper floors of the historic building dating back to 1927, at 711 Fifth Avenue, formerly home to Coca-Cola and Columbia Pictures.
A 5,500 square meter venue where every detail has been considered to create a unique experience, including a lobby designed by world-renowned architect Peter Marino, 500 square meters of terraces with breathtaking views of Manhattan, a restaurant, a speakeasy, a wellness center with gym, bars and luxury suites, as well as a theatre and gallery designed to host cultural events such as screenings, talks and art experiences.
A selection of Giorgetti products, including those designed by m2atelier for the brand over the years, dialogue with the timeless elegance of the interiors created by the design duo.
“Our relationship with Giorgetti goes back a long way. We chose Giorgetti products for the exclusive CORE: venue in New York because they are timeless pieces that reflect the unmistakable style of the brand’s collections. A style that combines the best joinery traditions with the most modern production techniques. By combining the mastery of craftsmanship, painstaking attention to detail and research into materials that the company has been practicing for over 126 years, with our own distinctive style, we have come up with product lines that seamlessly interpret the contemporary luxury of the Giorgetti lifestyle,” explain Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli, founders of m2atelier.
Inside the exclusive New York club, Giorgetti furnishings include: Tie XL, an armchair with a generous volume whose discreet silhouette reveals a deep, seductive slit at the back, reminiscent of haute couture creations; the small Elsa armchair, characterized by an alternation of solids and voids and by opposing forces; Skirt, a stool with an elegant, fluid shape and a full volume at the back, inspired by the silhouette of its namesake garment, all designed by m2atelier; and finally Gea by Chi Wing Lo, a chair designed for outdoor dining to complement patios.
A prestigious new venture that testifies to Giorgetti’s presence in the most exclusive international hospitality projects, thanks to its ability to offer an impeccable design service of the highest quality.
