Giorgetti presents the 2021 collection and, alongside important furniture families, offers a selection of products with refined shapes and materials that are easy to fit into any living context. The new pieces enrich and renew spaces with precious details.

"There are moments when it is wise to stop and understand that nothing more needs to be added", commented Marco Bonelli and Marijana Radovic about the Clamp small tables and the Uyuni mirror. Two completely different objects, but sharing a refined interplay of joints, geometric superimpositions, and glossy and matte finishes: the elements intersect each other to create an extremely elegant aesthetic minimalism. Inspired by Giorgetti's cabinet-making tradition, Clamp recalls the clamp used by craftsmen and interprets it in the metal structure of the small table. Available in three heights, with tops in leather, wood or painted glass, they can be assembled in a beautiful formal interplay. The same contrasting surfaces feature in the Uyuni mirror, whose reflective surface refers to the Bolivian lake that gives it its name. The mirror is also available with integrated lighting, equipped with a touch-off switch inserted under the shelf. The shelf that interrupts the regular shape of the mirror is made of solid walnut and can be equipped with leather storage trays.

It is a ribbon that unwinds, folds delicately and then begins to unwind again, transforming the two-dimensional sign into volume. This is the idea behind the Shirley collection designed by Carlo Colombo for Giorgetti. It is a bench and a mirror that, in their visual simplicity, interpret one of the fundamentals of design: shape is a function and vice versa. Once again, Carlo Colombo’s stylistic purity meets the manufacturing expertise of Giorgetti and from this decade-long collaboration, timeless pieces of furniture take shape, succeeding in defining space and overcoming temporary trends.
Colombo says that: "From a well-thought-out idea comes a good product, which will last forever: in the Shirley project the idea is precisely the bent metal ribbon that characterises the collection and becomes a structural element of the piece". The poplar plywood bench, padded and upholstered, is a soft oval element contained and supported by the ribbon, which is coordinated in colour and material with the seat or proposed in an alternation of leather and fabric. The same element runs along the mirror on the wall and defines its edge design. In this case, the ribbon is presented in the elegant leather version. The mirror, which can be positioned vertically or horizontally, is also available with integrated lighting and a touch on-off switch.

"Working with Giorgetti means working with people and craftsmen who have a great passion for detail and an extraordinary ability to make the industrial process coincide with artisan experience: the creation of the ribbon that defines this collection expresses this concept at its best. Thanks to the company's collaboration, I was able to translate this idea into a family of products: when I have an intuition and manage to turn it into a strong, unique and immediately recognisable sign, I want it not to remain tied to a single object, but to become the theme of an entire collection", concludes Carlo Colombo.

In Giancarlo Bosio's signature style, the purity of geometric shapes is inspired by three-dimensional effects to create sculptural objects that furnish living spaces with understated elegance. For the 2021 collection, the designer with the Centro Ricerche Giorgetti presents two elegant interpretations of the cylinder with the Otto and Summa poufs. The essentiality of the piece is enhanced by unexpected details that provide new and playful variants on the theme. In Summa, the cylinder has been broken down into vertical elements and then reassembled in a refined combination of colours and materials. The Otto pouf, on the other hand, plays on the surprise effect: the seat covered in leather or fabric suddenly reveals a pull-out, swivel tray table in painted steel.
